Ten of the seventeen coaching greats think the BCS got it right Sunday night when they announced a Florida – Oklahoma final. The Gators (12-1) piled up 11 first-place votes in Sunday’s last Legends Poll of the regular season. Four coaches had the Sooners (12-1) No. 1; two went with Texas (11-1).

Legends Channel Pro Football Connection – December 6, 2008

The Broyles Award, named after Arkansas Coaching Legend Frank Broyles, is given annually to college football’s top assistant coach.  The award will be presented by the Downtown Rotary Club of Little Rock on December 9, at the Doubletree Hotel in Little Rock.
