They upset Oklahoma, mauled Missouri and survived Oklahoma State. Still, after all that, not everyone is sold on 8-0 Texas strolling to the national championship game. “I’m gonna pick Texas Tech,” former USC coach John Robinson declared Sunday. If you believe Robinson, Texas’ third week on top of the Legends Poll, presented by Sporting News, will be its last. That’s how much he likes Mike Leach’s 8-0 Red Raiders, who tuned up for Saturday’s showdown with a 63-21 rout of a Kansas team the Legends thought was college football’s 17th-best.
