Game Ball: Cincinnati Off. Coordinator Jeff Quinn

September 11, 2009
By , LegendsChannel.com

Jeff Quinn’s offensive prowess continues to garner attention in Cincinnati as the Bearcats made an impressive 47-15 opening statement at Rutgers.  Always increasing tempo, Quinn’s 2009 version of the Red and Black machine managed to find two more gears.  The “Bearcat Formation” with Travis Kelce taking direct snaps accounted for two scores.  Also, Quinn installed a fast break, five-wide package running in successive plays to dictate tempo.  In all, Cincinnati amassed 564 yards of offense.  The Big East challengers will need to get ready with some extra sprints and midnight oil if they want to run with the Bearcats.

For his inventiveness and team’s great play, Coach Jeff Quinn is awarded the “Legends Nike Game Ball” for the National Offensive Coordinator of the Week.
