With just under one minute left, quarterback Case Keenum ran the last 4 yards of a 95-yard drive that saw the 13th-ranked Houston Cougars edge Texas Tech 29-28. It was a fitting end for a great performance, as Keenum was 38-of-58 for 435 yards with a touchdown and an interception. On the final drive, he was 4-for-7 for 44 yards and had three rushes for 22 yards. The win marked the second victory over Big 12 teams this year for the 3-0 Cougars.
For his great play, Case Keenum is awarded the “Legends Nike Game Ball” for the National Offensive Player of the Week.
