Safety Tyler Sash made his bid for defensive player honors as he led the Iowa Hawkeyes over in-state rival Iowa State Cyclones 35-3. The standout sophomore recorded three interceptions, a forced fumble and a team leading ten tackles. Sash’s three interceptions equaled an Iowa school record.
For his great play, Tyler Sash is awarded the “Legends Nike Game Ball” for the National Defensive Player of the Week.
