New Miami offensive coordinator Mark Whipple has made believers of his players. And now others around the country are starting to believe too. With an impressive 33-17 win over Georgia Tech, the Canes have made their first return to a top 10 ranking since 2005. Multiple formations and creative play calling kept the Yellow Jackets guessing on every series. Taking advantage mismatches and skilled players in space, Jacory Harris was 20-for-25 for 270 yards and three touchdowns.
“The offensive line, receivers, running backs, me, we all have so much confidence in what we’re running,” Harris said.
For his team’s great play, Mark Whipple is awarded the “Legends Nike Game Ball” for the National Offensive Coordinator of the Week.
