The Nevada Wolf Pack ran wild in their first win this season against rival UNLV 63-28. The Pack amassed an astonishing 773 yards of offense — a current season Division 1 record. In a day that saw 559 yards rushing, three Pack running backs went over 100 yards each. Head coach Chris Ault credited the performance to the offensive line and offensive coordinator Chris Klenakis.
“Klenakis did as good a job with that group as you can” Ault said.
Nevada was a perfect 7-for-7 on third down conversions and scored unanswered on their last five possessions.
For his team’s great play, Chris Klenakis is awarded the “Legends Nike Game Ball” for the National Offensive Coordinator of the Week.
