No. 6 Ohio State survived a close call with Navy in Saturday’s 31-27 win. Senior Kurt Coleman showed himself worthy of being team captain and proved he is one of the best defensive backs in the nation. Coleman had nine tackles, a forced fumble and a crucial interception to help slow the Midshipman. Coleman said, “It was a great game for us to really handle the adversity.”
For his outstanding play, Kurt Coleman is awarded the “Legends Nike Game Ball” for the National Defensive Player of the Week.
