Bill Young had a great homecoming in his first game back home in Stillwater as No. 9 Oklahoma State held off No. 13 Georgia, 24-10.  After Georgia’s opening drive, Oklahoma State was able to “Cowboy Up” and hold the ‘Dogs to just 177 additional yards.  Head Coach Mike Gundy said Coach Young brings maturity and experience to the team.  That experience was evident as the Cowboys had an outstanding game plan to combat Georgia’s size and strength.  The Cowboys were able to hold on several crucial third downs and caused two critical fourth quarter turnovers.

For his team’s great play, Coach Bill Young is awarded the “Legends Nike Game Ball” for the National Defensive Coordinator of the Week.
