The Pitt Panthers offense roared past the South Florida Bulls 41-14 in Pittsburgh. Pitt got off to a fast start with quarterback Bill Stull completing his first 11 passes, and the Panthers scored on their first five possessions. Offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti deserves much credit as he has rebuilt Stull’s approach to the game and increased his confidence. Stull finished the day 18-for-25 for 245 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.
For his team’s great play, Frank Cignetti is awarded the “Legends Nike Game Ball” for the National Offensive Coordinator of the Week.
