Gators best of 1-loss teams

No. 1 Alabama (10-0) and No. 2 Texas Tech (10-0) held onto their positions in Sunday’s poll of former coaching greats, but the last two unbeatens from BCS leagues weren’t first or second on every ballot. With four second-place votes, the Gators checked in at No. 3 in Sunday’s poll, one spot behind where they landed in the latest BCS standings. Texas, No. 3 in the BCS, was No. 4 in the Legends Poll, presented by Sporting News.
